POISON Frontman Plays Country Show
June 17, 2004POISON frontman Bret Michaels was the special guest of country star Chris Cagle at The Coliseum in Nashville last Sunday (June 13) as part of the CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair. The two sang a reworked version of POISON's 1988 Number One hit "Every Rose Has Its Thorn".
Michaels told Launch Radio Networks that was thrilled to participate in his very first Fan Fair, which is now known as the CMA Music Festival. "It was absolutely an honor. It was awesome! I've been wantin' to do this forever. I've been livin' in and out of Nashville since the early 90s, and so it was great, and especially I got a chance to do it with my good buddy, so it was the real deal. I'm not good at stuff that's put together — it has to be friends, it has to be people I like, and people (with whom) we have a mutual respect."
